A Timely Word Can Change a Destiny...
by Sheri Rose Shepherd

One of the hardest things to do in the heat of emotion is to be fire fighter for someone who is burning out of control.

The last thing we feel like doing is the first thing we should be willing to do if we want to contain the fire and keep it from burning up all that really matters.

Stop, Drop, and Roll.

We were once taught this in school for fire emergencies but this is the very thing we can do when our Loved Ones are burning up or burning out.

Stop saying things to fuel the fire.

Drop to your knees and pray.

And roll out the red carpet. Speak Love and speak in a language that reminds the person the royalty they are in Christ.

Love fearlessly and keep watering as long as it takes until the smoke of emotion clears and you have helped them find the exit door.

Now if you're ready, take 3 minutes and click the video link above and get ready to witness how timely words can wipe out a moment of emotion and save a life... maybe yours!

David replied to Abigail, "Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who has sent you to meet me today! Thank God for your good sense! Bless you for keeping me from murder and from carrying out vengeance with my own hands." — 1 Samuel 25:32-33
