16 耶和华对摩西说：“你从以色列的长老中招聚七十个人，就是你所知道做百姓的长老和官长的，到我这里来，领他们到会幕前，使他们和你一同站立。 17 我要在那里降临，与你说话，也要把降于你身上的灵分赐他们，他们就和你同当这管百姓的重任，免得你独自担当。 18 又要对百姓说：你们应当自洁，预备明天吃肉，因为你们哭号说：‘谁给我们肉吃？我们在埃及很好。’这声音达到了耶和华的耳中，所以他必给你们肉吃。

The Seventy Elders
16 So the Lord said to Moses, ‘Gather for me seventy of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tent of meeting, and have them take their place there with you. 17 I will come down and talk with you there; and I will take some of the spirit that is on you and put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people along with you so that you will not bear it all by yourself. 18 And say to the people: Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wailed in the hearing of the Lord, saying, “If only we had meat to eat! Surely it was better for us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.
