²¹ for the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner; ²² for Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. ^(A)These were the leaders of the tribes of Israel. ²³ But David did not ^[a]count those twenty years of age and under, ^(B)because the Lord had said He would multiply Israel ^(C)as the stars of heaven.
