³ But I want you to know that Christ is the head^(A) of every man, and the man is the head of the woman,^[a](B) and God is the head of Christ.^(C)

²² And he subjected everything under his feet^[a](A) and appointed him^[b] as head^(B) over everything for the church,

¹⁵ But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head^(A) – Christ.

²³ because the husband is the head of the wife^(A) as Christ is the head^(B) of the church. He is the Saviour of the body.^(C)
