⁶The ravens kept bringing him bread and meat in the morning and in the evening,^(A) and he would drink from the wadi.

⁴¹Who provides the raven’s food^(A)
when its young cry out to God
and wander about for lack of food?

⁹He provides the animals with their food,
and the young ravens what they cry for.^(A)

¹⁷As for the eye that ridicules a father^(A)
and despises obedience to a mother,
may ravens of the valley pluck it out
and young vultures eat it.^(B)
