Good News Translation

⁴⁸There was great rejoicing among the Jews. They set that day aside as a special day of celebration, ⁴⁹and decreed that the thirteenth day of Adar should be observed as an annual day of celebration. ⁵⁰There was peace in the land of Judea for a little while.
