²¹ “Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that has been found. ⁷ When the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah: ^(A)“They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance, ^(B)and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
