³⁸ And ye shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you, neither shall ye fear other gods;

³⁹ but ye shall fear Jehovah your God, and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

⁴⁰ And they did not hearken, but did after their former customs.
