¹¹ He did away with the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. They had been at the entrance of the Lord’s temple in the precincts by the chamber of Nathan-melech, the eunuch. He also burned the chariots of the sun.^(A)

²⁶ but the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and the treasuries of God’s temple.^(A)

²⁸ ‘but their duty will be to assist the descendants of Aaron with the service of the Lord’s temple, being responsible for the courts and the chambers, the purification of all the holy things, and the work of the service of God’s temple – 

¹¹ Hezekiah told them to prepare chambers^(A) in the Lord’s temple, and they prepared them.
