¹² King Jehoiachin of Judah, along with his mother, his servants, his commanders, and his officials,^[a] surrendered to the king of Babylon.^(A)

So the king of Babylon took him captive in the eighth year of his reign.

¹¹ So he brought against them the military commanders of the king of Assyria. They captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.^(A)
