¹¹ She replied, ‘Please, may the king invoke the Lord your God, so that the avenger of blood will not increase the loss, and they will not eliminate my son! ’^(A)

‘As the Lord lives,’ he vowed, ‘not a hair of your son will fall to the ground.’^(B)

⁵² Then Solomon said, ‘If he is a man of character, not a single hair of his will fall to the ground,^(A) but if evil is found in him, he dies.’^(B)

³⁴ So I urge you to take some food. For this is for your survival, since none of you will lose a hair from your head.’^(A)
