8 Now brothers, we make known to you the grace of God which has been ^(A)given in the churches of ^(B)Macedonia,

2 Corinthians 8:1

New International Version

8 And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian^(A) churches.

²that in a great testing by affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the ^(A)richness of their ^[a]generosity.

²In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.^(A)
