The Sixth Seal

¹² Then I saw him open^[a] the sixth seal. A violent earthquake occurred;^(A) the sun turned black like sackcloth^(B) made of hair; the entire moon^[b] became like blood;^(C)

¹⁸ There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. And a severe earthquake occurred like no other since people have been on the earth, so great was the quake.^(A)
