Amos 7:15-17

Do not prophesy^(C) against Israel;
do not preach^(D) against the house of Isaac.

Your wife will be a prostitute in the city,^(E)
your sons and daughters will fall by the sword,^(F)
and your land will be divided up
with a measuring line.
You yourself will die on pagan^[a] soil,^(G)
and Israel will certainly go into exile^(H)
from its homeland.
