The Ancient of Days and the Son of Man

⁹ ‘As I kept watching,

⁶ His body was like beryl,^[a] his face like the brilliance of lightning, his eyes like flaming torches,^(A) his arms and feet like the gleam of polished bronze, and the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.^(B)

³ and his clothes^(A) became dazzling – extremely white^(B) as no launderer on earth could whiten^(C) them.

¹² She saw two angels^(A) in white sitting where Jesus’s body^(B) had been lying, one at the head and the other at the feet.

¹⁰ While he was going, they were gazing into heaven, and suddenly two men in white clothes stood by them.^(A)
