²¹ ‘Do not set up an Asherah of any kind of wood next to the altar you will build for the Lord your God,

²³ They also built for themselves high places,^(A) sacred pillars,^(B) and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree;

¹⁰ They set up for themselves sacred pillars^(A) and Asherah poles^(B) on every high hill and under every green tree.^(C)
