⁴ So Moses said, ‘This is what the Lord says: About midnight I will go throughout Egypt, ⁵ and every firstborn male in the land of Egypt will die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne to the firstborn of the servant girl who is at the grindstones, as well as every firstborn of the livestock.

²⁷ ‘The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt,^(A) tumours, a festering rash, and scabies, from which you cannot be cured.

⁶⁰ He will afflict you again with all the diseases of Egypt,^(A) which you dreaded, and they will cling to you.
