¹⁶ You are to hold a sacred assembly^(A) on the first day and another sacred assembly on the seventh day. No work may be done on those days except for preparing what people need to eat – you may do only that.

⁶ For seven days you must eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there is to be a festival to the Lord.

⁸ You are to present a food offering to the Lord for seven days. On the seventh day there will be a sacred assembly; do not do any daily work.’
