³³ Moses told Aaron, ‘Take a container and put two litres^[a] of manna in it. Then place it before the Lord to be preserved throughout your generations.’

The Ark

¹⁰ ‘They are to make an ark^(A) of acacia wood, 1.15 metres long, 70 centimetres wide, and 70 centimetres high.^[a]

¹⁶ Put the tablets of^[a] the testimony that I will give you into the ark.^(A)

The Incense Altar

30 ‘You are to make an altar for the burning of incense; make it of acacia wood.^{(A) 2} It must be square, forty-five centimetres long and forty-five centimetres wide;^[a] it must be ninety centimetres high.^[b] Its horns must be of one piece with it. ³ Overlay its top, all round its sides, and its horns with pure gold; make a gold moulding all round it. ⁴ Make two gold rings for it under the moulding on two of its sides; put these on opposite sides of it to be holders for the poles to carry it with. ⁵ Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

¹⁰ The Lord told Moses, ‘Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the testimony to be kept as a sign^(A) for the rebels, so that you may put an end to their complaints before me, or else they will die.’^(B)

² I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets you broke, and you are to place them in the ark.”
