²² Even the priests who come near the Lord must consecrate themselves, or the Lord will break out in anger against them.’^(A)

⁷ Consecrate yourselves and be holy, for I am the Lord your God.

¹⁸ ‘Tell the people: Consecrate yourselves in readiness for tomorrow, and you will eat meat because you wept in the Lord’s hearing, “Who will feed us meat? We were better off in Egypt.” The Lord will give you meat and you will eat.

²³ I will display my greatness and holiness, and I will reveal myself in the sight of many nations.^(A) Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
