⁹ The Lord said to Moses, ‘I am going to come to you in a dense cloud,^(A) so that the people will hear when I speak^(B) with you and will always believe you.’ Moses reported the people’s words to the Lord,

⁵ While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered^[a] them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased. Listen to him! ’^(A)
