²³ For my angel will go before you and bring you to the land of the Amorites, Hethites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.^(A)

³⁴ Now go, lead the people to the place I told you about; see, my angel will go before you. But on the day I settle accounts, I will hold them accountable for their sin.’^(A)

⁸ The Lord is the one who will go before you.^(A) He will be with you; he will not leave you or abandon you.^(B) Do not be afraid or discouraged.’
