⁴¹ Put these on your brother Aaron and his sons; then anoint,^(A) ordain,^[a] and consecrate^(B) them, so that they may serve me as priests.

⁷ But you and your sons will carry out your priestly responsibilities^(A) for everything concerning the altar and for what is inside the curtain, and you will do that work. I am giving you the work of the priesthood as a gift,^[a] but an unauthorised person who comes near the sanctuary will be put to death.’^(B)
