¹⁴ God replied to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.^[a](A) This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.’

¹⁵ (John testified concerning him and exclaimed, ‘This was the one of whom I said, “The one coming after me^(A) ranks ahead of me,^(B) because he existed before me.” ’)^(C)

²⁴ Therefore I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.’

⁵ Now, Father,^(A) glorify me in your presence with that glory^(B) I had with you before the world existed.^(C)
