Exodus 31:13-15

¹³ “Also, speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘Nevertheless, keep My Sabbaths. For it is a sign between Me and you, in your generations, so that you may know that I, the LORD, sanctify you.

¹⁴ ‘Therefore, you shall keep the Sabbath. For it is holy to you. He who defiles it shall die the death. Therefore, whoever works thereon, that same person shall be cut off from among his people.

¹⁵ ‘Six days you shall work; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of holy rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, shall die the death.
