24 Then he said to Moses, ‘Go up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders,^(A) and bow in worship at a distance.

The Priestly Garments

28 ‘Let your brother Aaron, with his sons, come to you from the Israelites to serve me as priest – Aaron, his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.^(A)

² These are the names of Aaron’s sons: Nadab, the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

⁴ But Nadab and Abihu died in the Lord’s presence when they presented unauthorised fire^(A) before the Lord in the Wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons. So Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests under the direction of Aaron their father.^(B)
