²⁷ ‘Son of man, notice that the house of Israel is saying, “The vision that he sees concerns many years from now;^(A) he prophesies about distant times.”

⁴ ‘But you, Daniel, keep these words secret^(A) and seal the book^(B) until the time of the end.^(C) Many will roam about,^(D) and knowledge will increase.’^[a]

⁹ He said, ‘Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret^(A) and sealed until the time of the end.^(B)

⁴ And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven, saying, ‘Seal up what the seven thunders said,^(A) and do not write it down! ’

¹⁰ Then he said to me, ‘Don’t seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near.^(A)
