¹⁵ I came to the exiles at Tel-abib, who were living by the Chebar Canal, and I sat there among them stunned for seven days.^(A)

²³ So I got up and went out to the plain. The Lord’s glory was present there,^(A) like the glory I had seen by the Chebar Canal,^(B) and I fell face down.

¹⁵ The cherubim ascended; these were the living creatures I had seen by the Chebar Canal.^(A)

²⁰ These were the living creatures I had seen^(A) beneath the God of Israel by the Chebar Canal,^(B) and I recognised that they were cherubim.

²² Their faces looked like the same faces I had seen^(A) by the Chebar Canal. Each creature went straight ahead.
