Genesis 13:7-9

^7 (A)And there was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. Now ^(B)the Canaanites and the Perizzites were living in the land at that time.

^8 (C)So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are relatives! ⁹ Is the entire land not before you? Please separate from me; if you choose the left, then I will go to the right; or if you choose the right, then I will go to the left.”
