¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, ‘I give this land to your offspring,^(A) from the Brook of Egypt^(B) to the great river, the River Euphrates:

⁴ May God give you and your offspring the blessing of Abraham^(A) so that you may possess the land where you live as a foreigner, the land God gave to Abraham.’^(B)
