¹² Throughout your generations, every male among you is to be circumcised^(A) at eight days old – every male born in your household or purchased from any foreigner and not your offspring.

²⁵ and his son Ishmael was thirteen years old when the flesh of his foreskin was circumcised.

⁴ When his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham circumcised him, as God had commanded him.^(A)

³ The flesh of his foreskin^(A) must be circumcised^(B) on the eighth day.^(C)

⁵⁹ When they came to circumcise the child on the eighth day,^(A) they were going to name him Zechariah, after his father.
