³ and I will make you swear by Yahweh, ^(A)the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you ^(B)shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of ^(C)the Canaanites, among whom I live,

⁴ but you will go to ^(A)my land and to my kin, and take a wife for my son Isaac.”

⁶⁷ Then Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and ^(A)he took Rebekah, and she became his wife, and ^(B)he loved her. Thus, Isaac was comforted after ^(C)his mother’s death.
