¹⁷ These are the years of the life of Ishmael, ^(A)137 years; and he breathed his last and died, and was ^(B)gathered to his people. ¹⁸ They ^[a]settled from ^(C)Havilah to ^(D)Shur which is ^[b]east of Egypt ^[c]going toward Assyria; ^(E)he ^[d]settled in defiance of all his relatives.

¹⁹ Now these are the records of ^(F)the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham fathered Isaac;
