31 Răsărea soarele când a trecut pe lângă Peniel. Însă Iacov şchiopăta din coapsă. 32 Iată de ce, până în ziua de azi, israeliţii nu mănâncă vâna de la încheietura coapsei, căci Dumnezeu a lovit pe Iacov la încheietura coapsei în vână.
