Habakkuk 1:10-12

¹⁰ They mock^(A) kings,
and rulers are a joke to them.
They laugh^(B) at every fortress
and build siege ramps to capture^(C) it.
¹¹ Then they sweep^(D) by like the wind
and pass through.
They are guilty;^[a] their strength is their god.

¹² Are you not from eternity, Lord my God?^(E)
My Holy One,^(F) you^[b] will not die.
Lord, you appointed them to execute judgement;
my Rock,^(G) you destined them to punish us.
