Hosea 10:11-13

¹¹ Ephraim is a well-trained calf^(A)
that loves to thresh,
but I will place a yoke on^[a] her fine neck.^(B)
I will harness Ephraim;^(C)
Judah will plough;
Jacob will do the final ploughing.
¹² Sow righteousness for yourselves^(D)
and reap faithful love;
break up your unploughed ground.^(E)
It is time to seek the Lord^(F)
until he comes^(G) and sends righteousness
on you like the rain.^(H)

¹³ You have ploughed wickedness and reaped injustice;^(I)
you have eaten the fruit of lies.^(J)
Because you have trusted in your own way^[b]
and in your large number of soldiers,^(K)
