Isaiah 2:16-18

¹⁶ against every ship of Tarshish,^(A)
and against every splendid sea vessel.
¹⁷ The pride of mankind will be brought low,
and human loftiness will be humbled;
the Lord alone will be exalted on that day.^(B)
18 The worthless idols will vanish completely.
