⁷ The dominion will be vast,
and its prosperity will never end.^(A)
He will reign on the throne of David
and over his kingdom,
to establish and sustain it
with justice and righteousness from now on and for ever.
The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.^(B)

¹⁷ He put on righteousness as body armour,
and a helmet of salvation on his head;^(A)
he put on garments of vengeance for clothing,
and he wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.^(B)
