²¹ So King Jehoiakim sent Jehudi to get the scroll. Jehudi brought the scroll from the room of Elishama the ·royal secretary [scribe] and read it ·to [^Lin the ears of] the king and ·to [^Lin the ears of] all the officers who stood around the king.
