⁷ I will give them a heart to know me,^(A) that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God because they will return to me with all their heart.^(B)

³³ ‘Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days’ – the Lord’s declaration. ‘I will put my teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

⁴⁰ ‘I will make a permanent covenant with them:^(A) I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put fear of me in their hearts so that they will never again turn away from me.^(B)
