Jeremiah 48:6-8

⁶ Flee! Save your lives!^(A)
Be like a juniper bush^[a](B) in the wilderness.
⁷ Because you trust in your works and treasures,
you will be captured also.
Chemosh^(C) will go into exile
with his priests and officials.^(D)
8 The destroyer^(E) will move against every town;
not one town will escape.
The valley will perish,
and the plain will be annihilated,^(F)
as the Lord has said.
