⁴ I would plead my case before him^(A)
and fill my mouth with arguments.

¹⁴ But Job has not directed his argument to me,
and I will not respond to him with your arguments.

¹⁹ Teach us what we should say to him;^(A)
we cannot prepare our case because of our darkness.
