Job 31:38-40

Christian Standard Bible

³⁸If my land cries out against me
and its furrows join in weeping,
³⁹if I have consumed its produce without payment
or shown contempt for its tenants,^[a]
⁴⁰then let thorns^(A) grow instead of wheat
and stinkweed^(B) instead of barley.
