11 Then all his (A)brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they (B)consoled him and comforted him for all the calamity that Yahweh had brought on him. And each one gave him one [a]qesitah, and each a ring of gold. 12 (C)And Yahweh blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; (D)and he had 14,000 sheep and 6,000 camels and 1,000 pairs of oxen and 1,000 female donkeys. 13 (E)He also had seven sons and three daughters.

11 Then all his brothers and sisters and all his acquaintances came to Job. They dined with him in his house, and they showed him sympathy and comforted him concerning the tragedy that the Lord had brought on him. Each of them gave him one qesitah[a] of silver and one gold ring.

12 The Lord blessed the last part of Job’s life more than the first part, so he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.

13 He had seven sons and three daughters.
