⁴ When Jesus heard it, he said, ‘This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God,^(A) so that the Son of God^(B) may be glorified through it.’

Jesus Prays for Himself

17 Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so that the Son^(A) may glorify you,^(B)

¹² Conduct^(A) yourselves honourably among the Gentiles,^[a] so that when they slander you as evildoers, they will observe your good works and will glorify God on the day he visits.^(B)
