Jesus Prays for Himself

17 Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so that the Son^(A) may glorify you,^(B)

⁷ If we walk in the light^(A) as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus^(B) his Son cleanses us from all sin.

¹⁰ Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us^(A) and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice^[a](B) for our sins.
