¹⁵ so that everyone who believes in him may^[a] have eternal life.^(A)

³⁶ The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who rejects the Son^[a] will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.^(A)

Life and Judgement

²⁴ ‘Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life^(A) and will not come under judgement but has passed from death to life.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of my Father:^(A) that everyone who sees the Son^(B) and believes in him will have eternal life, and I will raise^(C) him up on the last day.’

⁴⁷ ‘Truly I tell you, anyone who believes^[a] has eternal life.
