²³ But an hour is coming, and is now here,^(A) when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.^[a] Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.

¹³ For we were all baptised by^[a] one Spirit into one body – whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free – and we were all given one Spirit to drink.^(A)

⁴ There is one body and one Spirit^(A) – just as you were called to one hope^[a](B) at your calling – 

¹² giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you^[a] to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.^(A)
