³ When you threw me into the depths,^(A)
into the heart of the seas,^(B)
the current^[a] overcame me.
All your breakers and your billows swept over me.^(C)
4 And I said, ‘I have been banished^(D)
from your sight,^(E)
yet I will look^[b] once more
towards your holy temple.’^(F)
5 The water engulfed me up to the neck;^[c](G)
the watery depths overcame me;
seaweed was wrapped round my head.^(H)
