⁹ The Israelites cried out to the Lord.^(A) So the Lord raised up Othniel son of Kenaz, Caleb’s youngest brother,^(B) as a deliverer^(C) to save the Israelites.

¹⁵ Then the Israelites cried out to the Lord, and he raised up Ehud son of Gera, a left-handed^(A) Benjaminite,^[a] as a deliverer for them. The Israelites sent him with the tribute^(B) for King Eglon of Moab.

³ Then the Israelites cried out^(A) to the Lord, because Jabin had nine hundred iron chariots, and he had harshly oppressed them for twenty years.

¹⁰ so they cried out to the Lord, saying, ‘We have sinned against you.^(A) We have abandoned our God and worshipped the Baals.’
